The focus historically shifts from open development to squeezing margins on existing deployments. This pattern leads to restricted access, closed codebases, and ignored bug reports for anyone without a premium support contract.
If BRC locks down core Asterisk components or forces FreePBX into a closed model to feed their telecom portfolio, thousands of operators will face sudden, expensive migrations.
Time will tell.

Правильно сказано. Не все покупки такие убивали бесплатные ветки.
Вон GitHub же после покупки его MS не превратился в платформу выкачивания денег.
