перезапуск демона Asterisk

доброго времени!

у меня Asterisk 1.8 на CentOS 6.8

хотел перезагрузить астериск, ввел команду - core restart now

в ответ "команда core не найдена" , пришлось перезапускать весь сервер....


знакомый посоветовал

service asterisk stop
service dahdi stop
service dahdi start
service asterisk start

можете дать какие- либо рекомендации по этому вопросу?!

По какому именно вопросу?

asterisk -rx 'core restart now'
или
service asterisk restart

рекомендации - делегировать такие задачи кому нибудь более знающему, кто в любой непонятной ситуации не будет перезапускать весь сервер

Вангую: нету таких у ТС.
Если это freePBX или Elastix -
amportal stop | start | restart

в новых версиях (не ваш случай)
fwconsole

Возможно еще и не FreePBX там, а голый астер - по наследству...
Тогда четко
service asterisk restart.

А вот и нет. Если там systemd - то обругает и скажет - нет такой инстанции
Failed to restart asterisk.service: Unit asterisk.service not loaded.

Если там systemd

нету systemd

на CentOS 6.8

даже если бы был, service перенаправляет на systemctl

Слабо просто из CLI: core stop now а потом из консоли слово asterisk
Нуи ... core module reload тоже никто не отменял.
Может просто астер не СЕРВИС системы

ТС просто её похоже не в CLI> вводил, а в консоли bash

Можно и ps -A ... kill pid-астера
