Опять перестал работать fail2ban.

Опять перестал работать fail2ban.

Всем привет.Вчера начал наблюдать картину брутфорсинга моего astera (debian 7.9 , aster 12)
Какого думаю хрена не работает fail2ban (который исправно банил всю эту швать последние пол года).Открываю логи f2b там тишина никого не банят.Решил протестить как работает f2b

Не понял че за херня думаю я.
Гугл правильных ответов не дает.
В итоге грохнул f2b apt-get (remove autoremove purge) f2b и ставлю по новой .
Все равно не работает не fail2ban-regex и никого не банит.
Затем грохнул f2b и вручную удалить rm /usr/local/bin/fail2ban-*
Переставил f2b еще раз по новой bin-ари почему то раньше были в /usr/local/bin/ теперь стали в /usr/bin/
и при запуске fail2ban-regex он ругается что нет такого файла в каталоге /usr/local/bin/ пришлось скопировать все из /usr/bin/
Чудеса ей богу.
Но зато fail2ban-regex заработал
Дальше перезапускаю f2b смотрю консоль астера опять курочат

Ответ содержится в самом вопросе: у вас идут сообщения Failed to authenticate device *@<HOST>.* на которые нет правила fail2ban, а вот зато есть правило
Failed to authenticate user .*@<HOST>.*
но это не то же самое.

такое правило есть

Самое интересное что все работало как часы довольно долго , конфиги не торгал уже пол года 100% рабочие.
Просто этот гад взял и перестал работать.
Моя бабка еще помнит беспроводные утюги.

Нашел косяк
есть полезная команда
fail2ban-client -d
кусок вывода

вот это то ему и не нравилось ['set', 'asterisk-iptables', 'addignoreip', '127.0.0.1/10.8.0.0/24']
нет пробела в конфиге между ip-шниками.
Вопрос в том что эти настройки я делал очень давно и оно работало же так.
Видимо обновления на самом деле.
Хоть бы ругнулся где в логах на это.
